Frequently Asked Questions
Does one rejected ad mean my entire Facebook ad account is restricted?
No. A rejected ad is an ad-level decision, while an account restriction applies to the ad account or another named business asset. Check the notice and compare its asset ID with Ads Manager. If the notice names only one ad, use that ad’s review or editing workflow. If it names the account, Page, person, or business portfolio, follow the action shown for that specific asset.
Can my ads stop running if my account is not restricted?
Yes. Ads may not deliver because of billing, scheduling, audience, permission, campaign status, or other delivery issues. Low impressions or a paused campaign alone do not confirm a restriction. Check Ads Manager’s delivery status, the billing area, campaign schedule, and the people authorized to manage the assets. If a restriction notice appears, identify the named asset and use that notice’s support path.
Does paying an outstanding balance automatically lift every restriction?
No. Paying or resolving a balance addresses a billing issue; it does not automatically resolve a separate policy, identity, security, or business-asset restriction. After addressing the payment notice, revisit the affected account’s status and check for any remaining action. Keep the payment confirmation or support reference, but do not assume the ad account is eligible to advertise until its displayed status confirms the change.
How long does Facebook take to review a restricted ad account?
Meta does not provide one dependable review time for every case. The estimate or status displayed for the specific request is the best guide available to that advertiser. Track the submission date, requested information, and case reference. If Meta asks for more details, respond through its designated workflow. A pending review does not become faster by switching browser profiles, devices, or IP addresses.
Can I create another ad account while the restricted account is under review?
A new account is not a recovery shortcut for an existing restriction. Check the restriction notice and current Meta guidance before creating or using another advertising asset, and do not use another identity or business to evade enforcement. If a legitimate business need exists, handle it through the normal authorized asset and access process. Keep the original review attached to the affected account and provide truthful information if Meta requests clarification.
Can RoxyBrowser or a proxy remove a Facebook ad account restriction?
RoxyBrowser and proxy settings cannot change Meta’s enforcement status or guarantee an appeal result. RoxyBrowser can help teams organize authorized browser profiles, separate local session data, configure an approved network route, and manage workspace access. Meta controls advertising eligibility and review outcomes. Use the affected account’s official status and support flow for recovery, and use browser tooling only for legitimate workspace administration.
